Future Wonder's home college team, the Indiana Hoosiers, are heading to the College Football Playoffs! It has been an amazing season in which they were originally picked to finish next to last in the Big Ten Conference, but instead are one of four teams from that conference to receive a bid to the newly expanded playoffs. They'll play Notre Dame Friday, December 20th in South Bend.
The Hoosiers have an 11-1 record with their only loss being on the road at then ranked #2 Ohio State. On average they have blown out all of the teams they beat by 33 points! They actually ended up tying Penn State's record in the conference, but Penn State got the bid to the conference championship on the 2nd tie-breaker.
As of this post, Indiana is a 7.5 point underdog to the Irish. A win in South Bend would earn the Hoosiers a trip to The Sugar Bowl where they would face The University of Georgia, who is the SEC Champion. That game would be a quarterfinal game for the playoff.
